CE + AC Power - UK Package Offers

Having had your boat CE Marked, you will normally need to address some standard non-conformities and for boats with AC power, deal with the conversion from 120v to 230v AC. Gablemarine is pleased to offer a number of tailored packages to address both, with the benefit of a 15% discount on parts and labour for AC conversion. All packages use the best components available and take away the guesswork factoring in the costs involved.

These packages are available for all sportsboats (open/cuddy/cabin) imported into the UK.

NC Packages - to rectify standard non-conformities

Note - All NC Packages include the supply and fit of a manual bilge pump (Whale SmartBail), plus all hoses, hose clamps and fittings as well as the installation of warning labels, CIN labels and the CE Plate. To view a PDF showing the key components used, click here on NC Package Components.

Supply and fit up to three non-return valves (for electric bilge and shower sump pumps), one fixed automatic inert gas engine room extinguisher and up to two portable manual powder fire extinguishers (marine)

AC Packages - installation of a 230v AC transformer package

All packages include a 15% parts and labour discount. AC1 Supply and fit, single replacement 230v AC 16A shorepower connection (HUBBELL branded, plastic), 15m 16A cable with additional 25m extension, single 3.4KvA 230-120v AC ISOLATING transformer (steel case), single BlueSea (#8177) 230v AC Panel c/w power LED, polarised LED and 1 x 16A dual pole main breaker switch, plus up to 5m (each) of 10 AWG (6.0mm dia, 60A, 120v supply) and 12 AWG (4.0mm, 45A, 230v source) tinned marine cable and protective conduit, marine grade connectors, ties etc. Test and verify operation of 120v consumers from 230v supply.
AC2 As AC1 plus supply and fit of 1 x 230v AC UK style CABIN mounted socket/receptacle, RCD protected and connected to a dedicated 1 x 10A circuit breaker on the new 230v AC panel board. For this installation a BlueSea #8129 Panel is used which supports an additional circuit breaker Installation includes additional wiring and crimped connections.
AC3 As AC2 except that the enhanced BluSea #8143 230v AC Panel Board is installed in place of the #8177 unit. This provides for up to three additional circuit breakers. One breaker is included into which the single 230v RCD protected socket will be connected. Note that this Panel Board requires a larger footprint and may not be suitable for all craft.

Upgrade Contents
ACU1 Upgrade from plastic to stainless steel HUBBELL branded shorepower connection
ACU2 An additional, double 230v AC UK style weather proofed socket/receptacle block, RCD protected, fitted in the engine room or cockpit locker (as feasible, please specify). Installed as a spur from a breaker on the AC2/3 230v AC Panel Board. Installation includes additional wiring and crimped connections. Not available for AC1 Package.

Notes - ACU2 is useful where the client wishes to fit bar heaters to the engine room to provide background heating where non-winterized craft may be left in the water during periods of sub-zero temperatures.
