CE Marking Assessment

We won't repeat the comprehensive coverage of this subject elsewhere on the site, other than to provide some quick links.

CE Marking projects can be carried out in any country (including of course the UK), but must include a personal inspection by the assessor. Projects are charged at the prevailing Retail rates and athough potential compliance issues will be discussed beforehand, there is no guarantee that further non-conformities will not be found as a result of the inspection.

It is also important to remember that whilst we are pleased to support you as Brokerage Professionals, we must remain independent in our assessment of the craft. For this reason we cannot be directly involved in the sales transaction itself.

As a 'private buyer' with little knowledge of importing a boat from the US to Europe, Gable Marine helped me through all the technical aspects and legal jargon.
